Growing up far beyond the borders of the boerewors curtain I spent my teenage years hunting waves along the Overberg coastline as a keen bodyboarder which is when my passion for photography first started too. Seeing the shapes and forms of the wedging and slabbing barrels had me drawn to capture it.

Nowadays these passions have both developed well and my idea of ‘surf’ includes surfing, kiting & foiling and behind the camera I am shooting video and photo from various angles including water, aerial and of course from the ground.

Kiteboarding grabbed my attention hard in my early 20’s and that obsession quickly led to career opportunities as a sponsored rider before moving into the system as an instructor, content creator, in-house marketer and now I am a freelance creator within the kiteboarding scene which frequents Cape Town each summer.

My passion for shooting surf has grown along with my skills and nowadays I spend all of my off time from ‘work’ shooting surf… Just can’t get enough!
