Surfboards by Oliver Packham

A surfer’s desire is to have as much fun in the water as possible, no matter what conditions the ocean sends with the tides.

As a passionate shaper, I pride myself in handpicking the strongest blanks available on the market. After passing through my shaping bay, the blanks are coated with the finest fiberglass and colourful resin – made to bring instantaneous satisfaction to the customer the moment their fingertips brace the glossy surface of their new stick.

Every surfboard I make is exclusively shaped, laminated and sanded with my own hands. This allows me the freedom to pay close attention to detail on each new project I’m given, and is a means to ensure that a standard of impeccable quality is met on every board I shape.

The past four years of my life have been dedicated to surfing and honing in my cut files with my main focus being single fin longboards, mid-lengths and fishes.

After working tirelessly with the South African longboard champion, Crystal Hulett we have managed to fine tune her longboards, mid-lengths, and fishes almost to perfection. Sam Christianson, another inspiration in the South African surfing scene, has also played a massive part in helping me build my surfing and cut file creation.

Crystal and Sam’s contributions have been an amazing help throughout my creative journey – and I have only just begun.
